#Elbaradei – 140 characters thoughts

Hi All,

Seems like it’s becoming a habit other than starting to write down my thoughts in blogs, it sneaks in 140 characters on Twitter and then a blog post comes out of it.

I had been a fan on a Facebook group supporting Elbaradei from a long while and took a close look to his videos and vision there, while going around Twitter tonight, I found people are Tweeting #Elbaradei out, so watched a part of the interview and presented some thoughts that came out of my mind just on time.

Here I’m trying to lay down the foundation in which myself will be taking a decision in a matter like that. And you, in which basis you should be taking a similar decision. If you have any other opinion, I’ll be out there snipping for it.

That also might be proving that supporting change first in Egypt and Elbaradei second as the carrier of the vision isn’t only an emotional decision by desperate individuals for change, any change, but it might be a very logical decision supported by logical engineering/business thinking.

Here we go with the Twitter posts and I’ll be writing a more organized posts to come, Insh’a Allah.

As #Elbaradei said, we should focus on the VISION more than on the PERSON while as the person adhere to OUR vision he should be supported.

No one can bring change to a community, unless he’s Qualified + Committed. we support #Elbaradei because / as long as he is is both.

Qualified comes out of personal qualifications by measuring the qualities of the person; vision, leadership-ability, charismatic, honest

Professional qualifications comes from practical experience, can he manage, he made something similar before, track-record as a professional

To decide whether someone is QUALIFIED or not you read his biography and then look to him while communicating.

That’s ABC of HR. you send your resume / biography for a job. if the employer found it interesting he interviews you, if you looked like it

With double checking the information and questioning what you’ve got to offer to your employer, you get the job is you’re really qualified

We all should take the same steps while dealing with such situation, by analyzing the qualifications of the person making sure he’s the man

If someone is personally and professionally qualified for a job, but not COMMITTED that means that he’s not gonna do it.

When someone express commitment up to going against the will of his own family regardless of the risk, that means that he is is committed

Accordingly, someone who’s personally and professionally qualified and deeply committed to his vision. Is the man to get for the job.

If we could understand that we’re the employer, then it’s our duty to make sure that we pick the right man for the right job ..

.. and overcoming any challenges that might block the way to our OWN decision as the OWNER and decider. becomes our duty.

I make the commitment to blog about that – the concept – and support the individual as long as he’s qualified and committed.

And this isn’t an emotional decision, this is the output of logical thinking, if we say that business organization apply cold-blooded logic

out of what the acme of human logic reached to get-things-done. This is a logical argument with minimum risk.

Should write about that and decide on a way to support the campaign and decision starting from now.

Finally as #ElBaradei said, we support the vision regardless of who’s carrying the flag.

The best way to put a conclusion to this, by a group of proverbs @Reemyyy posted to suit the circumstance we’re in.

Actions speak louder than words.#Proverb

Beggars can’t be choosers. #Proverb

Before criticizing a man, walk a mile in his shoes. #Proverb

Dreams are not the ones which come when you sleep, but they are the ones which will not let you sleep.#Proverb

Don’t judge a book by its cover.#Proverb

Don’t ask God to guide your footsteps if you’re not willing to move your feet.#Proverb

So, it becomes the decision of everyone of us, to do his job by further analyzing the political situation in Egypt and give his/her voice to whom deserve it based on the principles he/she sees such decision should be taken based-on. While I’m initially out of analysis I made some times ago through the Facebook activities (mainly videos of interviews with him) and discussions I had with my family; I see that #Elbaradei is “capable = qualified + committed” to lead Egypt forward.

I’m entitled to my own opinion and if we put one unit to supporting the person, we should put 99 in supporting the vision and making sure that it is and will always be our OWN.
